Placing a Buyer Referral
Required Information
To better assist the potential purchaser you are referring, it is important to secure the following information:
- Buyer(s) name(s)
- Current address
- All contact numbers, including email address(s)
- Buyer's preferred location(s). Remember, Referral Alliance places referrals throughout the US.
- Will the Buyer(s) be financing the transaction or will it be a "Cash" transaction. If seeking financing, has the buyer been pre-approved?
- Type of property the buyer is interested in (residential, condo, multi-family, etc.)
- Details (number of bedrooms, baths as well as requirements for garage size and basement)
- Does the buyer have a property that is for sale or needs to be sold?
In the event the potential purchaser has a property to sell, you may assist them with a "Seller Referral" as well. Please refer to "Place a Seller Referral" for complete details on placing Seller referrals.
Submission Details
Once you have obtained all the necessary information for the referral to be placed, please submit your "Buyer Referral" online to Referral Alliance by emailing the Designated Managing Broker, Dawn M. Svenningsen at: dsvenningsen@comcast.net.
- Please be thorough when submitting the required information, and be sure to include "Buyer Referral" in the subject line of your email.
- Please be sure to include your full name and contact information when submitting potential referrals.
- You may request a company or an agent you wish the referral to be placed with, providing the company you are requesting agrees to pay Referral Alliance a *30% referral fee on the gross buyer commission. Referrals may only be placed by the Designated Managing Broker of Referral Alliance for a Referral Associate to receive commission when the transaction closes.
- In the event you do not request a particular company, Referral Alliance will use its professional judgment to select a company and agent with a proven track record to place the referral with.
- Referral Alliance reserves the right to place any and all referrals with the company/agent that will provide the best service to the client/customer being referred.
- After the referral is placed, you may initially follow-up with the Buyer as a courtesy, but are prohibited from interfering with the transaction. Any concerns should be directed to the Designated Managing Broker of Referral Alliance.
- Under no circumstances may a Referral Associate directly place a referral or agree to a referral fee commission. This can only be done by the Designated Managing Broker.
