License Renewals
IMPORTANT RENEWAL UPDATE: The Broker license renewal deadline is April 30th, 2024.
Broker licensees who are renewing for the very first time are required to complete 45 hours of post licensing education prior to renewal. Brokers who are not renewing for the first time are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education prior to renewal.
Managing Broker licensees, who must renew by April 30th, 2025, are in their next "pre-renewal cycle". Managing Brokers will need a total of 24 hours of CE, 12 Base hours and 12 hours of Managing Broker specific CE.

Managing Broker licensees are currently in their next pre-renewal period, and holders may take CE in preparation for their 2025 Renewal Deadline.

Questions regarding your "*Inoperative" license? (*now referred to as "Inactive")
If you have questions regarding the status or reinstatement of your "*inoperative" license, contact the Illinois Department of Finance and Professional Regulation's License Division at 217-782-3414. Only the IDFPR can verify the fees and requirements to reinstate your license.
